Indoor/Outdoor Long Range Starlight Network PTZ

The SuperZoom-44 is a 2 Megapixel Indoor/Outdoor Starlight PTZ Camera with a lengthy throw – both with its powerful Infrared Lamps and an incredible 44X Zoom Lens. This PTZ is meant for longer distances. At 44 Times Zoom, this PTZ has a bigger lens than any other production PTZ that we know of.

This 2 Megapixel Starlight Network Camera works great anywhere you put it – Indoors in warehouses or plant floor environments. Thanks to being weatherproof, at any outdoor location, it is needed. At a Gate, a Driveway, Restricted Areas, or building entrances.

The Huge Infrared LED Lamps onboard this mammoth PTZ (it is enormous – weighs in at nearly 25 pounds), have to be massive to keep up with that gigantic lens. And boy can they throw out light – to as far as 800 feet! (or – in Starlight Mode – can turn off the Infrareds and go stealth!)

Plus – the IR Lamps are controlled via Smart IR, which controls the brightness based on the picture – if something is too close and starts glaring too much white in the image, it turns down the intensity.

Zoom

One of the unique features of this powerful Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera is the massive 44X Zoom Lens. This lens has a faster Auto-Focus sequence than most PTZ’s with only half the amount of zoom this Goliath has. 

This Motorized Zoom Lens (an incredible 5mm to 220mm) is intended to see people, vehicles, and other items of interest at a great distance. This is not a short distance camera.

Notice that the lens starts at 5mm. This is not the widest angle and is intended to zoom down fence lines, all the way across a warehouse, out to a gate or perimeter fence, or to zoom in really close on processes or machinery. 

The view starts at about 61 degrees wide, then zooms in to only 1.8 degrees wide. 

So that should give you a pretty clear picture of what this camera is designed to do. It’s made for Zooming in to see detail at greater distances than most PTZ cameras (Digital Zoom can also be turned on).

Patrols and Patterns

This PTZ can have as many as 256 Preset positions and can run up to 16 Patrols and Patterns (It can run up to 16 patterns as well as patrols, and can remember patterns that are as long as 15 minutes per pattern). It can perform these Patrols and Patterns at great speed as well – up to 300 degrees per second rotation is possible.

The SuperZoom-44 can tilt past straight down, and will automatically rotate the picture right side up when it passes that point.

It also has a Home position that it will return to after a time you have set. 

This PTZ Camera delivers 1080p resolution at 30fps, and can also be set to 720p or lower if needed. It also can carry an SD Card for stand-alone or emergency backup recording (up to 128Gb).
